Inclusion in the classroom.

Hello everyone, this is Alexis. This time I want to share a conference I found extremely important from the ETC. We had two speakers telling us about what is inclusion really like, they broke our paradigms about special needs. When I thought about an student who has an education need soon came to my mind the thought of a vision impaired student or an audition impaired student, when in reality all students have special needs and they can all benefiti from slight changes in the planning of our classes. Inclusion is not about protecting or creating a bubble around our students, but about treating them how the deserve to be treated, having activities they can perform and preventing exclusion. The small changes we can make, like having more visual aids if they are weakened in an auditory sense, or making the font larger for the ones who are visualy weakened, those small changes can really make a difference in our classroom. And the most important thing we can do is having controll of the rapport at the classroom, and letting our students know that we all have special needs when it comes to education and that when it comes to learning our styles always vary.
