This picture is from the last Panel we had, it was called "Lengua, cultura e identidad" some of the experts (Mary Curran, Axel Hernández Díaz, Fernando Guerrero, etc) had a small debate about the language and how this affects or defines our identity, the cultural aspects, the differences, the good, the bad; and of course, showing their high knowledge and the appreciation of their roots (because all of them where from different parts of the world), 

Fernando Guerrero is a full time teacher on Escuela de Lenguas, he speaks 5 languages and has traveled all over the world and studied in the most prestigious schoools. We got interested in this Panel because he is well prepared and we wanted to support the talent our school offers.

We are two students in the Language School from UJED. Our names are Cristina Martínez and Alexis Avitia. And we were given the opportunity to experience the congress, created by students, and named ETC that stands for: "English Teaching Conference". This is the first congress in which we participate and did not dissapoint us. We had the opportunity to get advice from experts in the field and we were always aware of what globalization means to an English teacher. Having an experience like this congress is a great opportunity for us because we see the importance of staying updated in teaching methods, which only help us to grow as teachers.
